Anti-Bullying Assembly

Jessica Brookshire, with the K.A.R.M.A. foundation (Kids Against Ridicule, Meanness and Aggression), visited PJHS in November to share her message about bullying.  Jessica, now a beauty pageant contestant and winner, founded KARMA with the intention of spreading the word about bullying and its effects on children of all ages.  She shares her personal story as a victim of bullying, in hopes of reaching the bullies, the bullied AND the bystanders.  She was available after the assembly to answer questions and to provide support to the students.  At PJHS we continue to look for ways to encourage positive, respectful interactions between students and to create a safe learning environment for everyone.  Visit Jessica's website at thekarma.org for more information.
