8th Grade to take EXPLORE Test

Our 8th graders will be taking the EXPLORE test the morning of Wednesday, October 19th.  This is an exciting test and I encourage everyone to be present and on-time for school on this day!  The EXPLORE test is a career readiness test that assesses the students areas of strength and weakness.  It is divided into four sections (math, english, science and reading).  The EXPLORE Student Score Report gives information about student knowledge, skills, interests, and plans. This information can be used in planning high school coursework and in helping the students to begin thinking about college and work.  This information will become a part of the student's permanent record and will be used by the Junior High and High School Counselors in coursework planning.  You can visit ACT's EXPLORE program webpage at https://actstudent.org/explore/index.html  Please contact me if you have any questions.
